Lenovo Unveils “World’s First Foldable PC”- New Think Book Lineup

The company has released images of a prototype and announced that it will be releasing in 2020. On the other hand, the company has also released its new ThinkBook lineup, meant for SMBs. This lineup is being introduced with the ThinkBook S series, featuring the ThinkBook 13 and 14s models. They offer an ultra-slim design, physical Think Shutter camera cover for privacy control, touch fingerprint Reader, spill resistant keyboards, premium Full-HD Displays and up to 11hours of battery life.

The upcoming Lenovo Foldable Laptop Expected to be coming up with a new design. Along with this, they are also expected to announce that the prototype is not of a phone or tablet, or a hybrid, but of a full-fledged laptop with a foldable screen. The images unveiled by Lenovo enclose that the PC folds out into a larger two-sided display, with one side working as a touch screen keyboard. The display can be folded into a larger screen which can also be used as a touch screen device. You can also connect a physical keyboard to it separately. According to the Lenovo Foldable Laptop Rumors, the display of the particular laptop will able to stay active at many angles of folding including the 90 degrees. Lenovo has not given any information about the specifications and also the name of the upcoming laptop. There will be some chance that, this world’s first foldable PC will be available in 2020.

The new ThinkBook S-series will be available in the US with an expected price of $729 (roughly 51,300 INR). Also, it is expected from the Lenovo Foldable Laptop Leaks that the new ThinkBook 14s is expected to be available with a cost of $749 (roughly 52,700 INR). It has the 13-inch and 14-inch full-HD display which can flat at 180 degrees, and feature with an ultra-narrow bezels. These laptops are made up of aluminium and magnesium metals with a mineral Grey finish. The weight of Lenovo ThinkBook 14s and the ThinkBook 13s are expected to be 1.5kg and 1.34kg respectively.

The characteristics are rumored to be powered by the powerful graphics with either integrated Intel UHD 620 or discrete AMD Radeon 540X, Core Processor, Standard SSD, etc. The ThinkBook 13s will also be expected to be included with rapid Charge providing 80 percent battery capacity in one hour’s charge. It offers dual-array microphones along with dual speakers with one key to hang up. Other features involve discrete TPM 2.0 for user data encryption, hinges coated in Indium metal to reduce Wi-Fi interface, up to 11hours of battery life with a rapid charge on ThinkBook 13s. While the ThinkBook 14s is routed to offer up to 10 hours of battery life.
