The host has to create the meeting and send the link to those he wants to join the meeting. A code will be there in the link. After clicking on the link, it will ask for the code. By entering the code, you can join the meeting. You can use it on the pc or the phone. The video quality is also excellent. You can also chat while being at the conference.

2. TeamViewer

This is software for screen sharing, online meetings, web conferencing, and files transfer. This is available for every software. This is safe to use and easy to handle. It has 2048 bit encryption. 

To use the remote control functions, you have to tap on the Remote Control Tab on the homepage. Here you will find your TeamViewer ID and the temporary password, which you can easily change. 

By using your ID and password, you can allow others to remote control your computer. And if you want to use your friend’s pc, you can enter your friend’s account’s ID and password and choose the connection mode. 

Another tab named meeting is also available. It has two sub-tabs named host meeting and joins the meeting. If you are the host, you can use the host meeting and choose between a presentation, a video call, or a phone call. For joining a meeting, you can enter your name and the meeting ID, and the host will invite you to join.

3. Screenleap

This app is the least complex of all and the easiest to use. Here, you can get a permanent URL that others can use whenever you share something, and if you are not active, it will automatically tell others to wait. 

You can also share your screen with others by sharing a 6- digit code that others can enter on the homepage, and they can get access to your screen.

It has paid plans starting from $15 per month. It is simple to use, but it has certain demerits. Video conferencing option is not available in this app, and hence it is less useful for collaborative meetings. But still, it is used for fast screen sharing even through the browser.

4. Skype

5. Slack

This is a channel based messaging software. People can conduct various meetings and video conferencing using this app. Here, the team members can share files and images through a channel. 

You can also make a channel private so that only some group members can view the data and projects in the channel. You can start voice call or video call with the members of the channel whenever necessary. 

You have to download the app to use this. You can create your channel by clicking on the + button. After clicking that button, a window will open, allowing you to start a new conversation. 

If you cannot download a file because of your internet connection, you can start that message so that you do not have to search for that message. When you start a message, it will save in the starred message option.

6. Join.me

Its collaboration techniques are the most advanced. It uses a variety of tools like a pen, a highlighter, and a laser pointer. You have to download the join—me software to conduct or join a meeting. The free version is available for upto 10 participants. 

The paid version can take 250 participants. You can also switch the presenters. You can also record your meeting if you want to.
