How Does A Water ATM Work?

Since we discuss water ATMs, it is essential to know how it works and its method, including reverse osmosis, pre-filtration, and ultraviolet purification to purify the water. Water ATMs are user-friendly, cost-efficient, and you will never have to waste money on bottled water. Let’s find out how a water ATM works!

  • Water generally flows through the water inlet and reaches the media that has multilayers of sand and an activated carbon filter. These will remove foul color, the smell of water, and particles
  • After this, the contaminated oil particles along with gases are thoroughly removed using activated carbon. Apart from that, 5 Micron filtration is also used to remove micron particles from purified RO water
  • A high-pressure pump generally dispenses the water membrane at the required pressure. However, RO water passes through the membranes of the size 0.1 micron to remove contaminants that cause water unpleasant taste and smell
  • Furthermore, the UV system destroys bacterial cells from water
  • Next, the purified water will fill the tank and passes to the chiller to clean the thirst of a person
  • So, you can finally put a coin in the machine and take a glass of chilled water during summer days.

So, this is the way a water ATM works and provides you with pure water.

What Are The Benefits of Water ATMs

The first benefit we need to mention is that Water ATM provides absolutely healthy and clean water to everyone!

  • The water provided by the ATMs is free from all germs, but it is chilled as well. The water is treated by reverse osmosis before it is available for drinking. Hence, you will be able to stay away from water-borne diseases
  • Water ATMs are one of the most cost-effective and economical sources of pure drinking water for both urban and rural areas
  • Water ATMs have become the primary source of water for areas where water is scarce. In this case, they do not have to buy a water purifier or buy bottled water regularly. However, these machines are easily available in such cities or places
  • Water ATMs are helping people from becoming dependent on packaged drinking water. Package water is not only expensive but not a good option too
  • If you truly have to stand in a queue to get purified water, this would be a great deal to save time and energy!
