Innovation means formulating changes and introducing new methods, ideas, and products. The Covid19 pandemic has unfortunately affected everything and everyone, there is nary a field that is not affected by the pandemic. The pandemic has also been an opportunity to innovate. Every field has been innovating to sustain and adapt to the changed circumstances of working and living.

The product innovations are carried out by the Production innovation consultancy companies like Future Factory. Product Innovation Consultancy involves 3 phases to every innovation task, design research, product design, and product development. The execution of these tasks defines the quality of the product. From research to development there are specifically dedicated teams that are responsible for these tasks.

Design Research

The first phase of every project undertaken by the Product Innovation Consultancy is research. The research involves understanding every aspect of the product to be designed, alongside taking a look and understanding the past and present versions of the product. The research is done assiduously without missing out on even a single aspect of the product. The quality of research directly influences the product design, hence good Product Innovation Consultancy companies accentuate on the research.

Product design

The next main step in the project is product design, this phase involves planning and designing the product. The planning comprises of team brainstorming ideas on how to design and what different design elements to use, including the materials that need to be used and the cost of the product. The designing phase is initiated after the conclusion of the planning phase. The design is usually done on computer software and is majorly virtual. The different ranges and versions of the designs are built to test out every possible way a product can be built. After the few final designs are selected the project moves on to the next phase that is development.

Product development

The final phase of the project is the development of the product, borrowing the final designs from the previous design phase the prototypes of the product are developed. The developed products are of many different versions, the products are developed with different materials to test out which works best. Also, different sizes of the product are tried out. A final few developed products are chosen for the one last step that is testing. The final products are tested in a series of steps to try and observe the performances of the product, and the product that is more efficient is then released out to the world.
This is how the Product Innovation Consultancy companies such as Future Factory have been working to provide us with innovative products to adapt to the world that the pandemic has brought upon us. Product Innovation Consultancy has made it easier for us all to work in these hard times and keep the world running.
