Lamborghini Marks The End Of Combustion Powered Vehicles In 2024!

Supercars have come a long way ever since they first rolled the streets. Their engines have become more powerful, their body more streamline, and their speed more intense. We all predicted that this trend will continue to grow until Tesla decided to rock the vehicle market. Tesla had only one idea in mind, and this is putting an end to combustion powered vehicles! At the start, it was difficult for people to catch on the idea and not everyone thought it was going to be a success. However, slowly but surely, the company managed to became what it is today.

Nevertheless, even this was not enough for us to be prepared for the news that Lamborghini has just announced. Namely, in the project called “The Direzione Cor Tauri Plan” Lamborghini announced that they will no longer produce combustion powered vehicles after 2024. Yes, we could have expected this to happen in the near future from a company that produces everyday vehicles but no one expected this from a company making supercars. So, what does this mean for the world of supercars in general? The truth is, no one knows and probably no one would know until things start to move.

In order for us to put things into perspective much better, let us take a good look at things from the very beginning. Combustion powered vehicles have been around us ever since cars were first manufactured. Whether it is diesel or gasoline, they never failed to impress us, especially the stunning supercars. Yes, there have been some letdowns but hey, no one is perfect. This was especially true for Lamborghini. They make some of the most prestigious cars in the world and quite often, the most expensive ones. However, in the modern world, combustion powered vehicles are believed to be one of the main reasons for air pollution.

Thus being said, there were some efforts to create electric powered vehicles before but Tesla took this a couple of steps forward. They started a mass production of some stunning cars and many other companies soon followed. However, no one was brave enough to make literally every single mass production car electric. That is until 2024. Lamborghini is the first company to announce this groundbreaking news and it seems that other car manufacturing giants will soon follow. Though it is safe to say that no one expected this to happen so soon.

So, what is the main reason behind their decision? Well, there is no just one single reason. There are a couple of factors that probably made the company do this. First of all, and probably the most obvious one, is the future. As everyone predicts, combustion-powered vehicles have no future, they are going to be overtaken by electric ones. Secondly, it all comes down to making a profit. We can all agree that even though every Lamborghini is super expensive, people still buy them. So, making them electric will not stop people from buying them. Lastly, they are eco-friendly, something that has to be taken into consideration!
