  • The primary difference between the two marketing approaches is the concept. Think of growth marketing as the company’s mission, whereas growth hacking can be seen as a tactic employed to achieve growth.
  • Growth hackers aim for rapid growth, whereas growth marketers look for sustainable growth. In practice, it means that when faced with the same problem, a growth marketer and a growth hacker would approach the problem from two different angles.
  • Growth hackers shuffle between a marketer and a full-stack developer. On the other hand, growth marketers are wizards when it comes to conducting, analysing, and making use of qualitative research.
