People often face troubles in their long life career, want to change the industry they work in or want to try completely something you what they always dreamed for but don’t know what to, or sometimes you have personal troubles that you can work for limit hours or even remotely. Before doing the big step, there are some little steps that you casually will take:

Figuring out

There has always been a taboo among people about figuring out your life, all people go around like they have figured out what they are doing and when someone asks about their future they give any valid answer that makes you question your values. But, the truth is no one actually has their answers, we are just ashamed to admit it. It is okay to don’t know what you want to do with your life, give yourself some time to finally decide on what to jump in. During this process you can explore your preferences in jobs, you can explore LinkedIn for jobs, and see the requirements so that you can develop your skills. There are a lot of people that claimed they saw a lot of jobs that they never knew existed via these social media. 

Setting a career goal

Now that you figured out the industry you want to work in or what your dream job is, time to explore deeply these two things like the requirements for this position and if you do not have those to get schooled. You cannot jump into applying for a job just because you liked it, since the most change is to not get through the recruiting system at all.

Let’s be honest it is almost impossible to survive out there without money, now that you set the mind to get a career, you should obviously have some source of basic income to help you along the way. You cannot do anything for lack of opportunities, the only thing you manage to do is move out to a bigger city where chances to land a better job are higher.  Sometimes we cannot change our location or move out for personal reasons, which in that case the only thing you can do is get skilled to land a good remote job.

You are never old to get any new skill or continue your studies. Nowadays, there are a lot of remote jobs and this type of job is constantly growing, most of them require some skill which you can get from any course which also you can find them online in an affordable price and will help you later on to land a job in the industry you want. Just two years ago, the company of search engine Google launched some courses that will help you in job hunting. There are a lot of amazing companies have legit courses in whatever field you want to help you out. 

Create the network

Considering that you now got the skills, it is time to search for a job in the industry you want. Explore for the alumni of the company, do you intend to apply, and connect with them via LinkedIn, so you can see their job culture. Explore all the companies in the industry you are wanting to set foot in, and the skills of the people that are in the same job position as you want to be. Connect with recruiters, you can be reached in option data less difficult. 

Be advantageous of Social media 

According to recruiters, another step of the recruitment system is looking through applicant’s social media to see if they are fit in the company, they look through it to get a better picture of the person that they might go into the further process of hiring or sometimes even to disqualify from the hiring process.

It might not be a big deal for the applicant to the model of resume, but in the hiring process, it has a lot of impacts. Resumes that show your creativity like using colors or different types of fonts are a huge turn-off in the recruitment process since it is a nonprofessional sign.
