Everything You Need to Know About the Most Popular Mobile Battleground, Garena Free Fire

As of now, Free Fire needs no introduction; it is simply one of the most popular mobile battle royale games available, exceeding the likes of PUBG Mobile, Call of Duty: Mobile, and other titles in the category. Free Fire on pc has received over 60 million user reviews and over 500 million downloads on the Google Play Store, which is no minor achievement.

What Exactly Is Garena Free Fire?

Free Fire was first published in September 2017 as a beta for Android and iOS, at a period when battle royales were still in their infancy. In fact, the initial beta of the game was released before to the release of PUBG on PC, the latter of which pushed the entire genre into public popularity. Because of the popularity of battle royales, as well as the expanding interest in mobile gaming, Free Fire became one of the most downloaded apps in the Play Store, a position it still holds today, three years later.

111 Dots Studio created Free Fire with Unity 3D, a popular engine among indie developer firms since it is free and has a large library of components accessible for download. The engine is also incredibly adaptable, providing a plethora of features and creative flexibility to those who learn its complexities. While the game was created by 111 Dots Studio, it was released by Garena, a business recognized for selling some of the most prominent games in Southeast Asia and Taiwan since 2009. Aside from publishing Free Fire, the Singaporean game distributor is recognized for distributing titles such as League of Legends, Call of Duty: Mobile, Arena of Valor, and Speed Drifters.

Game Modes for Free Fire

As previously stated, Free Fire was primarily a battle royale videogame, yet the developers have recently expanded the repertoire to include additional exciting and competitive game types. While some of these new modes have become permanent fixtures owing to their widespread popularity, others are continually cycling in and out of the roster, providing players with diversity and breaking up the monotony.

Among the game modes that have been launched in Garena Free Fire during the course of its existence are the following:

Classic: The classic BR experience in which up to 50 people compete to see who is the greatest.

Clash Squad: A vs game style in which two teams of up to four players each attempt to defeat the opposing squad. The team with the most victories after seven rounds is declared the winner. Every kill and win awards the players money, which they may spend to buy weapons at the start of each game. This game mode is reminiscent of CS:GO.

Rush Hour: A condensed version of the standard battle royale in which just 20 players drop into a very tiny area. Perfect for those looking for rapid battle royale bouts.

Kill Secured: A brief game mode with a team-death match style in which the goal is to kill more people than the other team. When a player dies, they leave behind a dog tag. Extra points are awarded if the adversary takes up the tag. Allies, on the other hand, can pick up the tags to deny the enemy team the extra points.

Big-Head: A hilarious team-death match variant in which all characters have larger heads.

Game play of Free Fire

The main game of Free Fire is the battle royale mode, in which up to 50 players descend on any of the three areas stated above and run about gathering guns, gear, and other types of treasure that will give them an advantage over their opponents. People may sign up for solo, pair, or squads, which allow them to play by themselves, with a partner, or as part of a team of up to four players.

Free Fire is, at its heart, a normal third-person shooter game. If you play on PC using BlueStacks, the experience will be similar to that of other popular titles like PUBG or Fortnite. In this way, you’ll move about using the WASD keys, choose weapons and throwables with the number keys, and aim and shoot with the mouse. There are several sorts of weapons, such as assault rifles, SMGs, handguns, shotguns, and sniper rifles, among others, each of which handle differently and excels in distinct scenarios.
